Organizations like ICER, The Institute for Clinical and Economic Review, aim to address the challenge of high prices in the US health system by pushing for fair pricing and access and ensuring sustainable high-value healthcare for all Americans. At our next grand rounds, Grace Lin and Jeffrey Tice, two UCSF faculty members who also lead work in ICER, will demystify the contributors to drug pricing and explore how health systems can improve value in modern medicine.
