  A model on a smartphone-based symptom tracker app to predict probable infection was applied to the data from over 800,000 users who reported their potential symptoms of COVID-19, and predicted that 17.42% of the participants were likely to be infected by the virus. Of over 18,000 participants who had been tested for COVID-19, 65% reported loss of smell and taste.
