The proportion of marketplace plan selections by persons between the ages of 18 and 34 has been increasing; they account for nearly a quarter of all marketplace plan selections, both SBMs [state-based marketplaces] and FFM [federally facilitated marketplace], for the first four months of the initial open enrollment period, compared to 24% during the first three months of the initial open enrollment and 27% during the month of January.
