National Health Council: 2016 Exchange Parameters
Patients are thankful for the benefits
created by the Affordable Care Act, but that they are hungry for
more information to help them find the right plan that meets
their health and budget needs. To review the latest patient
protections and transparency requirements included as part of
the 2016 Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters and Letter to
Issuers, three representa-tives from the Center for Consumer
Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), which is part of
the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), presented
at a March 20, 2015, briefing hosted by the NHC.
