A new estimate from the Congressional
Budget Office (CBO) shows the 'skinny' repeal would likely
result in 16 million fewer people with coverage in the next 10
years and exchange premium increase of about 20%. The CBO
analyzed what would result from repeal of the individual mandate
alone. The report shows 15 million fewer Americans with coverage
by 2026 and individual market premium increases of about 20%.
The Center for American Progress calculates that as an average
increase of $1,238 next year.

Fewer insurers are applying to
participate in Obamacare exchanges. Dr. Taffy shares this is due
to the uncertainty in the market and questioning whether the
administration is going to pay the cost sharing subsidies or
not.
