New analysis from Avalere Health finds that average statewide individual
market premiums are projected to increase 3.1% for the 2019 coverage
year. This represents a slowdown in premium growth compared to 2018,
when premiums grew 30% on average. Of the 47 states and DC examined, 12
are projected to see statewide average premium decreases for 2019.

Affordable Care Act (ACA) and HIPAA. Further complicating data
and analysis in the healthcare industry is the continuing merger
and acquisitions of these organizations. With more modern data
patterns and practices healthcare organization can bring
together disparate data during mergers including between EHR and
EMR solutions. During this session we will look at which
technologies can help healthcare companies analyze their data
without investing in years of design and implementation. While
not all needs can be met with this type of analysis, these
technologies help them be better prepared to answer questions
for the government and stakeholders.
