	“While I believe the PCMH has yet to prove it leads to statistically and financially significant cost savings, I propose an emerging challenge will be professional liability, a.k.a. malpractice. As the PCMH spreads, liability insurance actuaries will have to assess the impact of teaming, coordination and electronic records on an injured patient’s willingness to ‘call Saul,’ the personal injury attorney. If the rate of suits is less than what is being seen outside of the ‘neighborhoods, the larger challenge of cost savings may become less important.” Jaan E.
