"Regarding the impact of the election, I have a couple of thoughts. Medical homes are fiscally responsible, they provide very good value, and both sides of the aisle like that idea. Having said that, some of the things that have been proposed, some of the history of some of the folks, is not necessarily consistent with value-based care. As for Dr. Price, he in the past has supported some policies that aren't consistent with managed care and patient-centered medical homes, and he has been a big supporter of balance-billing in the past. Patient-centered medical homes are very much aligned with managed care, and anything that erodes that will be bad for medical homes. And if the Affordable Care Act is repealed, it will impact access to care, and one of the key principles of medical home is access. But at the end of the day, medical homes provide great service and value. But no matter what else happens in 2017, I am confident that they will proceed, politics aside."

"It is estimated we saved $6,300 per patient spread across the 27,000 patients we had enrolled through our practice. Our estimate is that over the last 24 months of the medical home practice, we probably saved the Medicare program $1.6 million per month."
