In what it describes
as the largest patient-centered medical home program in the country,
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has now designated 1,243 practices
representing 3,770 physicians as PCMHs for 2013. A recent analysis by
the plan showed that the program has saved approximately $155 million
over its first three years. |
