“Even a hire that sounds
fairly steep in terms of initial investment can pay dividends. We had a
client in North Carolina that manages a group of small practices. They
said they did not have a lot of dollars to invest in resources, but were
looking for a hire that could generate revenue. They wound up hiring a
nurse care manager, which not only allowed them to fill in care gaps,
but generated an additional $40,000 a year in revenue. It helped pay for
other staffing and computer upgrades.” - Emma Mandell Gray, Senior Manager, ECG Management Consultants. |
