IBM Watson for Healthcare
In this video, Dr. Martin Kohn, Chief Medical Scientist, Care
Delivery Systems, of IBM Research discusses the use of the
Watson supercomputer in healthcare. Watson understands the
nature of a question being addressed; reads and understands huge
volumes of literature; generates and evaluates hypotheses; and
learns from the results. For example, it can suggest the
diagnosis and treatment of an individual patient.
