Reducing HF Readmissions: Act "Locally," Think Globally  

Readmissions are a huge problem and not just in heart failure (HF). To keep patients from returning soon after
discharge, cardiologists have to think more globally before a patient is released. Mary Norine Walsh, MD, is medical director of the HF and cardiac transplantation program at St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana. This interview was conducted at the ACC's 2014 CV Summit
in Las Vegas.
