Factoid
  A study of over 21 million fee-for-service Medicare beneficiaries found that the percentage receiving any of 32 low-value services decreased from 36.3% in 2014 to 33.6% in 2018. Three services comprised approximately two-thirds of the uses: preoperative laboratory, opioids for back pain and antibiotics for upper respiratory infections.
