Results from the first two
years an e-consult program in allergy and immonology at Massachusetts
General Hospital found that e-consults were used for 66% of adverse drug
reaction cases, while in-person visits were used for 9%. e-Consults were
especially popular for penicillin allergy, representing 61% of all
e-consults, and immunodeficiency, used in 15%. In-person consults were
