  According to a CMS report, 954,614 total clinicians are receiving a Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) payment adjustment for the 2019 performance year under the Quality Payment Program. 4.36% of clinicians had a final score at the performance threshold; 11.63% of clinicians had a final score between the performance threshold and the exceptional performance threshold; and 83.69% of clinicians had a final score at or above the exceptional performance threshold. Only 0.32% of clinicians had a final score below the performance threshold.
